Vijender Singh wins 2nd professional title of his career


Indian and Haryana born boxer Vijender Singh Beniwal won his career’s second professional title defeating China’s Zulpikar Maimaitiali to win the World Boxing Organisation Oriental Super Middle Weight Belt in Mumbai on Saturday. This is Vijender’s ninth professional victory, with the unbeaten history since he turned professional in 2015.

The Indian Boxer has fought eight bouts, last one being against former world number one boxer Francis Cheka from Tanzania where he defended his title. On the other hand the Chinese boxer is also unbeaten since his debut in professional boxing. Both of them are the top boxers of their respective countries.
Vijender Singh has been training in Manchester with his trainer Lee Beard for this match, the first ticket of which was presented to Sachin Tendulkar, considered to be the god of cricket by boxer himself.
Vijender Singh now holds two titles simultaneously, including the World Boxing Organisation Asia Pacific Super MiddleWeight Belt.
