New Team India Jersey

Oppo President Sky Li and BCCI CEO Rahul Johri unveiled the new jersey at an event held in Mumbai. The jersey has almost the same layout as the previous one worn by the players in limited-overs cricket.

If BCCI agrees to send the Indian Team for the Champions Trophy 2017 then, Men In Blue would be seen sporting the new gear at the ICC tournament, scheduled in England from June 1. The mobile manufacturing giant OPPO‘s association with BCCI will start from April 2017 for a period of five years.

“OPPO and the BCCI share a similar vision – to give the best cricketing experience to the country! Let’s celebrate this association!,” said Oppo Mobile India at the launch.

Earlier in the year, OPPO had emerged as the highest bidder to bag the sponsorship rights of the Indian cricketing team, as reported by FE Bureau from New Delhi. The bids, which are conducted by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), saw OPPO bid R 1,079 crore for a period of five years. It will pay Rs 4.17 crore per bilateral match and Rs 1.51 crore for an ICC match. According to the report, the other firms to have bid were Vivo Mobile, Star India, Paytm, Hero MotoCorp, WPP-owned media agency GroupM, Zee Group’s English daily DNA, DBS Bank and another WPP Group-owned agency, Encompass.
