The talks of shutting down the MS paint have been highlighted earlier as well. The news was authenticated today by the leading company Microsoft, when it announced that it is going to put a full stop to its long standing basic graphics editing programme MS paint. It won’t be available with the latest windows 10 update called the Autumn (or the fall in the US) creators update. The new update is said to be constituted with varieties of new features.

The MS paint was included in the release of windows 1.0 in the year 1985 and then after it facilitated digital creativity for a long period of about 32 years. It eased the creation of hundreds of millions of pixelated dicks drawn with a mouse. The removal of this once so prominent app especially among children is a part of Microsoft’s plans to bring an end to programmes that are no more in active development.

MS paint is considered to be one of the first graphic editors used by that was used by numerous people which had gradually become a core part of windows. With the new Windows 10 Creators Update that was released in the month of April, Microsoft introduced the new Paint 3D, that is installed alongside the traditional Paint and features of 3D image making tools as well as some basic 2D image editing. But it is definitely not an update to the original 32 years paint and neither does it behave like it.

Now Microsoft has announced that, alongside Outlook Express, Reader app and Reading list, Microsoft Paint has been indicated for an end having been added to the “features that are removed or deprecated in Windows 10 Fall Creators Update”.

It is believed that paint was never one of the most capable apps that was confined to the BMP and PCX formats only, until the year 1998. The removal of MS paint is similar to the removal of some very precious and favourite old toy from your childhood home. It was very much used by children for a kind of entertainment, creativity and time pass.

It is not mentioned clearly that when the app will officially be removed from windows and it is yet to be confirmed but it has been flagged for either removal or deprecation that can be described as a timely demise.
