Virat Kohli (India captain): The way the wicket behaved when SL batted first, also seeing the way the pitch was getting worse, as well as the lead, prompted us to enforce the follow-on. Haven’t been a big fan of enforcing the follow-on on a breaking wicket. We go and bat again and put some runs on the board.
(On SL’s comeback) You expect teams to come out and play like that. You start going down as a team if you expect to dominate every session. You should look forward to tough situations to improve as cricketers. You need patience. We are very happy we went through a difficult phase as well.
(On Saha)He’s right up there with the world’s best. We could see his keeping today, and how agile he is. Lot of positives for us. I never knew that. It’s all about taking Indian cricket ahead
