India calls Pakistan a “Terroristan” which basically means a terrorist state. It was a strong response from India to Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.
On last Thursday i.e. September 21, 2017, Pakistan’s Prime Minister said that he sees “zero” political or military role for India in Afghanistan. According to him, only Pakistan wants to bring more peace in Afghanistan.
Around a year ago,on September 21,2016 Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif at United Nations General Assembly described the situation in Jammu and Kashmir as an “intifada” for freedom and self-determination. He also spoke about Burhan Muzaffar Wani, as he was killed by Indian Security Forces on July 8, 2016 at the age of 22.He was a Kashmiri militant and the commander of militant group Hizbul Mujahideen, designated as terrorist organization by India, the European Union and the United States. Nawaz Sharif called wani, a “young leader ” and said his killing was a “murder”.
First Secretary to the Indian permanent mission to the UN Eenam Gambhir relate to Sharif’s speech as “long tirade”. She mentioned the incident of September 2011 and added: “the world has not yet forgotten that the trail of that dastardly attack led all the way to Abbottabad in Pakistan”.
Eenam Gambhir think of Uri attack , which turned up and reported as “the deadliest attack on security forces in Kashmir in two decades “,when Pakistani High Commissioner Mr. Abdul Basit was called to demand that Pakistan stay with its commitment to not allow “its soil or territory under its control to be used for terrorism against India”.
“Even today we have heard the support by the Prime Minister of Pakistan for the self-acknowledged commander of known terrorist organization Hizbul Mujahideen. Pakistan as a country with democracy deficit. In fact, it practices terrorism on its own people. It extends support to the extremist groups, it suppresses minorities and women and denies basic human rights including through draconian laws. As a democracy, India is firmly resolved to protect our citizens from all acts of terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir. We cannot and will not allow terrorism to prevail “- responded Gambhir.
