Just a few administrative and medical negligence and it cost 30 children their lives in just 48 hours. The Principal of Baba Raghav Das Medical College was suspended by the Uttar Pradesh government in Gorakhpur for his negligent behaviour. However, the Principal claimed that he gave his resignation prior to suspension.

The minister of Medical Education in UP, Ashutosh Tandon released this action during a press conference after the death, of 30 children in 48 hours. But here the question arises that why to take action after a massive loss why not prior cures? With such losses of lives leaves people with a question in their minds whether they are safe even at hospitals or not.

According to officials, 17 children died in the neo-natal ward, 5 in AES (acute encephalitis syndrome) ward and 8 died in the general ward. Mr Narendra Modi, Prime Minister is in constant touch with the central and state government and is monitoring the condition in Gorakhpur.

Delay in payments to the vendors by the college authorities made this worse said the education minister. Meanwhile, the college authorities have ordered for the investigation to find the potential reasons behind this mishap. Even now after such loss people are guilty are finding reasons to escape from this situation.

Tandon said, “The oxygen supplier company claims that it had approached the health department to inform about the dues for which Baba Raghav Das Medical College were provided with the required funds but the supplier later claimed that the funds were transferred on August 11″.

Though the blame game didn’t rest here, everyone was busy in blaming one authority to another no one thought what lacked in the medication process which cost the kids their lives and their families their future. It was so irresponsible of the concerned authorities that they could not maintain a good storage of essentials which are mandatory for a hospital to maintain.
